I have used IAAP since its inception. They can handle any aspect of your race. They can handle a race from a small one all the way to large events like the Beach to Bay Relay Marathon with over 14,000 participants. There isn’t anything they cant handle and they do it with the upmost of professionalism. I can’t say enough about how great they are to work with. I highly recommend them. Doug McBee
"Anyone who wants to start a race needs to start by hiring IAAP. I would never be where I am with Harbor Half if it wasn’t for IAAP and crew, Doug McBee and Ed Cheatham! I still rely on them for advice and wisdom!"
"My organization hosts two 5Ks every year as part of our programming. We are grateful that IAAP has produced these events for us every year for the past several years. Not only are they professional--every event is planned and executed on time and in just the way we asked for it--but they are also generous and community-oriented. They have big hearts and treat us like family. We will gladly continue to work with them in the years to come."
"IAAP does the timing for most San Antonio RoadRunners races. We have 9 races every year that they time for us. They go beyond to be sure we have accurate results for our runners including taking pictures of all finishers with the time clock. They are able to resolve any timing issue quickly. Another great service they provide is the ability to see how many runners are still on the course, so we can provide our runners support till the end. Not only do they assist with timing, but they also provide race support and advice if we need it. They provide barricades, stage, and other race supplies as needed. We could not put on a great race without IAAP.
"Working with Ceci and her team has been a huge benefit to the Zilker Relays. She helped streamline our packet pickup process, saving us lots of time, energy and money which we were able to put back into creating a stronger race-day experience for our participants. She is always exceptionally well-organized and prints great tee-shirts for our event as well. "
"Ceci, our race was on Saturday and I think it was very successful. We ended up with over 250 registered. You have been an absolute pleasure to work with and I can't thank you enough for all your help! Looking forward to seeing you at your races."
"Our organization has tried multiple racing companies in our early days, and were not satisfied with the results. Once we finally teamed up, IAAP has been our choice for timing and promotion of our races ever since! From course setup, all the way to final results they can cover it all. The entire staff knows everything involved in putting on and promoting a race, and they are great at teaching you so you can have a real understanding of it all. They are truly experts at problem solving in real time, a requirement in races involving hundreds to thousands of entrants. I would not think of using any other company again. "
"I am Sue Fletcher with The Texas Bandmasters Association. We host the TBA Fun Run every year in downtown San Antonio to kick off the Convention. This year IAAP helped to organize this effort and they were invaluable to us. Jose, Rafael, Minny, and their team did an amazing job with this Fun Run! They were prompt, efficient, professional, and friendly. The runner’s results were available within 5 minutes, photos were taken, and our athletes had a blast. Thank you IAAP for a job well done! We will be issuing your services again and strongly recommend that others do too!"
"The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) has organized a 5K Fun Run/Walk in connection with its annual Summer Meeting since 1996. Our meeting is in different cities around the country, and this past summer (June 29, 2022), we were in San Antonio, Texas. We usually organize the race ourselves, but this year we hired IAAP to handle the race-day administration, and Jose and his team did an outstanding job. Our meeting was held at the downtown Grand Hyatt, and we were able to walk right outside the side door of the hotel for the start and finish of the race. Jose organized an out-and-back 5K course through the Hemisphere Park, under the interstate highway and to/around the Alamodome and back. The course was on sidewalks, in the park and on the outside of the Alamodome – all totally free from traffic. His team used cones, directional arrows and people to mark the course. He had an electronic clock, timing-chip running bibs and provided results within five minutes of all our 150 competitors completing the course. And, because Jose knew that we were doing the Fun Run/Walk to raise money for the NFHS Foundation, his charges to administrate the race were very reasonable. If you are holding a convention in downtown San Antonio and wanting to stage a 5K Fun Run/Walk in association with your conference, IAAP, led by Jose Iniguez, is your company."
